🏔 Hotel Norling Khare – Mera Peak Climbing
Hotel Norling Khare is located in Khare, the final village before Mera Peak Base Camp, making it the ultimate staging point for climbers and trekkers heading toward the summit. From comfortable lodging and hearty meals to fully organized climbing support, we are your trusted partner on the journey to Mera Peak.
When you arrive at Khare (5,000m), you’ll check in at Hotel Norling Khare, where you can rest, recover, and meet our highly experienced Sherpa guides. The following day is dedicated to acclimatization and preparation — our guides will review your climbing gear, check your summit clothing, provide climbing tips and basic training, and assess the weather forecast for your expedition.
Some climbers choose to spend the night at Mera Base Camp (5,350m), while others prefer a day hike and return to Khare. Our team will help you decide based on your health, weather conditions, and climbing plan.
From Khare, your climb continues through the Mera Glacier to Mera High Camp (5,800m), where you’ll stay in a fixed tent camp. The summit push begins early the next morning, usually between 2:00 and 3:00 AM, following the standard north-side route with a rope-up glacier travel system. After celebrating at the summit of Mera Peak (6,470m), you’ll safely descend back to High Camp and finally return to Khare, where a warm stay at Hotel Norling Khare awaits.
Our team manages all logistics, including tents, meals, safety gear, and communication devices, ensuring a safe, seamless, and fully supported climbing experience.
